About the Game


Metamorphosis is a scene driven, play by post RPG set in an alternate version of the Marvel universe, featuring reinterpretations of canon characters as well as original characters. Though you may recognize names, one thing is certain - we are not your father's X-Men!

Current Plots


It's Halloween, and the Hellfire Club is hosting its Annual Halloween Ball! Any character from any faction is welcome to attend the party at the Club with a HFC member, where all your needs for fun and debauchery can be fulfilled.
Strange things are afoot in Central Park. Tonight is Samhain, the pagan New Year and the day to honor the dead. The veil between the worlds is thin tonight, and who knows what - or whom - might cross from one world to the next.

This is also a game for adult characters. In the Metamorphosis world, there is no Xavier Institute - in its place is the Xavier Foundation, an organization known for its charity work. But the Xavier mansion is also the secret home of a covert paramilitary strike force known as the X-Men. The X-Men protect mutants from violent persecution by humans. They also battle anti-human mutants like Magneto, whose Brotherhood of Mutants is dedicated to acheiving his dream of mutant supremacy.
